Bento Box A5 Risograph Print

A bright and cheerful lunch box, Japan style! This is a 4 ink risograph print, A5 size, on recycled paper, unframed. Presented in a biodegradable cellophane bag for protection.

Risograph prints are printed one colour at a time with the paper being fed through each time, meaning no two prints will be identically aligned. This is part of its charm and shouldn't be seen as a mistake. Risograph ink, like newsprint, is never truly dry and is subject to smudging if not handled delicately. Framing is advised.

This was originally a paper collage. It has been scanned in and digitally colour-separated for the riso process. The original collage was very small and has been enlarged, giving it a retro fuzzy felt feel.
